It is not important if it is in the classroom or father to son, mother to daughter, friend to friend, stranger to stranger. If you can give a little of your knowledge to someone, anyone, you will have benifited the whole. One of my proudest moments in my life was when I overheard a young Kenyan man telling a freind that I was the guy from the card. I asked him later what that was about, he looked a little sheepish and said "I hope you dont get mad at me, I always take a few of your business cards and when I meet people I tell them "if you need a computer, buy it from this man, he is a great boss, he makes us want to learn"" That was one of the high points of my life.

Easier said than done, right? How do I know who has the item I am looking for? How do I know whether they would be willing to share it? We sometimes don't bother asking all our neighbours and end up buying items that surely we could have borrowed from someone else.

Well! www.ecoSharing.net is the solution to facilitate sharing with your friends and neighbours. It's free, it's safe (you only share items with friends/neighbours you know), will help you save money, will reduce your carbon footprint, will strengthen the relationships you have with your neighbours/community, and will give you access to a lot more items without clogging up your house/garage.

Be an ecoSharer, start sharing today - www.ecoSharing.net

All businesses in the town will no longer sell bottled water, and visitors will be given bottles labelled "Bundy on tap", which they may fill for free from filtered water fountains in the street.

According to cafe owner Huw Kingston, the residents of Bundanoon wanted to shrink their collective carbon footprint, by clamping down on the processes associated with producing and selling bottled water.

Full story on ...www.nowpublic.com/environment/bundanoon-first-bottled-water-ban-world
